At Knightsfield School we encourage our students to develop their speaking and listening skills through consistent use of an auditory/oral approach. We aim to give each of our students a high quality, personalised educational experience that equips them for a full and fulfilling role in society.
The school provides for students from Hertfordshire and other LEAs in the region, whose main special educational need is hearing impairment. We accept students who have a range of hearing loss, mainly from severe to profound, whose language and communication is affected by their hearing impairment. They will be making progress in developing their language skills through the auditory/oral mode.
Our school prospectus gives full information about our school, our curriculum and our admissions criteria.
